| The Integrated New Bharat Engineering Works (Jam) Pvt. Ltd. was started in the year 1951 by three entrepreneurs Mr. Patel, Mr. Jadeja, Mr. Panesar. Initially it was started with small foundry and repairing of Diesel Oil Engines. Subsequently manufacturing of Diesel Oil Engines were undertaken and more than 25000 Diesel Engines have been manufactured under the Brand Name of "ENERGY" & "Folkstone". In the year of 1960, Machine Tool division was started. It started with manufacturing of Center Lathe Machines for Precision Engineering Industry and till date more than 8000 Nos. Lathes have been supplied all over India and abroad. Later on Pillar, Radial, Column Drilling Machines, Vertical Milling Machines etc. were added, and more then 2500 Machines supplied. Further in 1977 Horizontal Boring Machines under collaboration with WMW Germany was introduced. These Machines were manufactured and Exported under Brand Name of "ENERGY" and total Production of all Machine Tools reached more than 10,000 Nos. Since its inception. This Products were marketed by M/s. Voltas Ltd. & M/s. Jayems Engineering Company Private Limited having Nation Wide Marketing Network. |
